Logitech M170 First Impressions

A few days ago, I bought this Logitech M170 Wireless Mouse for ₱550.00 from a computer store here in Cebu. I needed a mouse because—surprise, surprise—not all tasks can be done with a trackpad nor trackpoint. I bought the Logitech M170 without anything in mind; the computer store happened to have it among their wireless mice and I just went with it.
What stood out to me is the size of the mouse. It’s smaller than I anticipated. The Logitech M170 left me wanting more size, especially the need for my palm to rest properly. It could be said that its small build is a pro rather than a con because it’s easy to stash, especially when travelling.
A lot about this mouse is non-offensive. I appreciate the on/off switch, I’ll say that. The design is fine, scrolling is fine, clicking is fine. I will say however, that the sensitivity is at least non-offensive and is mostly adequate.
Overall, it’s an OK wireless mouse on a budget. The Logitech M170 gets out of the way and the gets job done fine. I could see why people would buy one, but I could also see why they wouldn’t.
